Most of the owners that we work with are investors, and we enjoy building those relationships whether they are out of state, out of country, out of town or local. We also work with home owners that are moving out of state or country for various reasons. These home owners are called accidental landlords. This past fall, we received a call from a home owner that was moving out of the country, and wanted to rent out his home in the interim until he would be moving back. The house is in Bridgeville, which is a suburb of Pittsburgh and a great location due to its close proximity to the city. The owner wanted the home advertised and leased while he was still in the property, so that the tenant would be moving in as soon he left the country.
We advertised for about a month, building up interest about the home, and found a qualified tenant within the time frame that he wanted. Because the owner contacted us about the property ahead of time, we were able to secure a tenant who moved in the day the the owner moved out. This has provided instant income and the owner doesn’t have to worry about his house while he is gone.
At Real Property Management Three Rivers, we take care of your home and rent to only qualified renters whether you’re an accidental landlord, or not!
